Cores

  • #AR

Cores is an augmented reality publication covering five subculture aesthetics: Dreamcore, Nostalgic Core, Weirdcore, Frutiger Aero core, and Y2K core. Each chapter uses distinct type and color systems, matching the mood of each aesthetic. AR elements reveal annotations, allowing for layered interaction. The publication treats aesthetic subcultures as living archives, always shifting, remixing, and reinterpreting.

Archive 48

  • #UX
  • #Identity

Archive 48 is a speculative web project built from real FBI documents on UFOs but presented from an alien’s point of view. For the content, I picked up the specific terms from the document and letter, as well as the specific way of obscuring redacted texts. I used green glows, glitch effects, and monospaced fonts to create an alien-coded, techno-organic language. The site plays with the idea of humans as unknowable “others”, a reverse gaze that de-centers anthropocentric design, playing around with the idea of decryption and obscuring.

The Pretty Cars

  • #Publication

The Pretty Cars is a personal project and a love letter to classic American cars. I focused on type-image composition. The zine was a study in aesthetic pacing and how nostalgia can be communicated through visual rhythm.
