about

I’m a multi-disciplinary Mexican graphic designer based in Los Angeles. I am currently studying Graphic Design at CalArts and will earn my BFA in 2026! My practice is centered around humor and curiosity. I approach design with a deep sense of thoughtfulness and wonder for each concept, and I personalize everything by focusing on the small details in every project. When I’m not designing, you can find me crocheting, listening to music, or playing Marvel Rivals and Balatro (my latest addiction).

Positive Gaslighting

Positive Gaslighting is a playful and thought-provoking card game centered around the concept of self-affirmation and positive gaslighting. In this game, players draw cards with exaggeratedly positive or overly encouraging statements meant to be both uplifting and absurd. The goal is to creatively respond to these statements, either by playfully accepting them or ignoring them.

The game highlights the fine line between genuine encouragement and gaslighting, all while encouraging players to think critically and laugh at the sometimes unrealistic nature of positive thinking. It’s designed for players who enjoy witty banter, social insights, and a good dose of comedy.

Going Varsity in Mariachi

Going Varsity in Mariachi is a film that I relate to because of the culture. This poster and campaign were about identity through Mariachi and strength. These Mariachi players are strong but have many things to stress about in their lives. Using their strength in Mariachi, they can achieve their goals. Whether it is excelling in the Mariachi career or using the skills they learned in other parts of their lives. The poster that I designed encapsulates that: identity and strength.
