Design Index
Design Index is a 213 page publication and research project exploring a myriad of design related subjects including relevant practitioners, typography terms, historical design movements, and a personal design atlas. The design focuses on cohesion and clarity while maintaining excitement through small moments of scattered script typography and colorful bars. Developing a careful methodology for book design and maintaining it was a crucial lesson.

L.A. Contrast Postcards
An assignment where we were tasked with observing a contrast in Los Angeles, photographing it, and creating a set of four postcards about the contrast. These postcards cover the contrast in signage, particularly on the streets of Hollywood. Featuring Champagne Coast, Madame Tussauds, Lady Love, and the L. Ron Hubbard Life Exhibition. Created through both Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, these postcards were an introduction to design software and what is possible through them.

Sign Secrets: A Simple Guide to Understanding Signage
A class project where we were tasked with expanding a chosen theme into a 32 page french folded book. “Sign Secrets” is a guide to understanding the language of signs through five simple categories: scale, typography, age, location, and form. Featuring photographs taken at Hollywood and the Getty Villa, the book explores designing with playful type explorations while maintaining cohesiveness and cleanliness.
Signs speak. Will you listen?
